2015 Sr PGA Presented by KitchenAid

May 19 - 24

The 2015 Senior PGA Championship presented by KitchenAid is billed as a “Walk with History.” It will be played on the course Hall of Fame designer Pete Dye said couldn’t be built atop one of Indiana’s highest points until inspiration struck and he sketched a design on a napkin (which will be displayed at the tournament). Many guests know our rich golf history. At the top of the list: Walter Hagen’s 1924 PGA Championship win on The Donald Ross Course and two LPGA Championships in 1959 and 1960 won by Mickey Wright and Betsy Rawls, respectively. In conjunction with KitchenAid, the Town of French Lick will be hosting a variety of entertaining events on the Town Green.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no public parking at the West Baden Springs Hotel. Guests can access the hotel via the French Lick Resort shuttles or the trolley.

Vintage Base Ball

Saturday, September 19 & Sunday, September 20
Saturday game starts at 9am
West Baden Springs Hotel Lawn

Vintage Base Ball is played by the 1864 rules and customs on the north lawn adjacent to the main entrance of the West Baden Springs Hotel. The mid-nineteenth century game was considerably different than today’s game and Vintage Base Ball players wear the old-style uniforms and recreate the game. Most players played barehanded until the mid-1880s but starting in the late 1860s a few catchers with raw hands needed to wear thin buckskin gloves to keep on playing. For more information about Vintage Base Ball visit www.vbba.org.

Concours d'Elegance

Friday, October 2 - Sunday, October 4

Some of the rarest, most elegant and historic collector cars from across the country will be showcased on the beautiful grounds for this year’s Concours d’Elegance at French Lick Resort. This luxury lifestyle weekend will bring together top exhibitors, seasoned judges and enthusiastic sponsors to celebrate the "competition of elegance" - and to raise money for Kosair Children's Hospital.
