French Lick Resort Eliminates Resort Fee for Guests

FRENCH LICK, IN (July 1, 2009) —French Lick Resort guests are now able to enjoy the typical luxuries found at a resort property without the extra cost. Beginning July 1, a resort fee is no longer required when staying at the French Lick Springs Hotel and the West Baden Springs Hotel.

Like many other resort properties, French Lick charged a daily fee of $12 in addition to the cost of a guest room and taxes. The fee enabled guests to utilize the following amenities:

High-speed wired and wireless internet
Fitness Center access
Indoor/Outdoor pool complex and hot tub access
Resort parking and valet service
Resort shuttle service
Sports & Exhibit Center access (rental equipment available)
Tennis
Croquet
Horseshoes
Basketball
Volleyball
Hiking & Biking trails
USA Today delivered every morning (weekdays only)

In addition to these services that are now free, guests may also take advantage of the many other amenities that are available to purchase. Guests can experience three championship-level golf courses, two world-class spas, Vegas-style casino, riding stables, six lane bowling alley, casual and fine dining options, historic tours, retail shops and a full kids and teens program.
