Neil Sedaka began playing classical piano at the age of eight. He attended classes at Julliard School of Music’s Preparatory Division for Children. Throughout the 50s, 60s and 70s, Sedaka owned the charts, whether through recording or writing. As a songwriter, Neil Sedaka has provided hits for everyone from The Captain & Tennille to Cher, the Monkees and even Elvis Presley—just to name a few. By the age of 24 he had already sold 25 million records worldwide—and that was just the beginning of his career.
