Wanna Hang Out?

So, you're on this dumb family vacation right? Guess what? It's not so dumb. Our activities are kind of cool and they're just for you, not your five year old little brother, not your parents, and not your ancient grandma—YOU! Don't worry—no one will know—what happens on vacation stays on vacation.

Here's the stuff you need to know:

Experiences are for ages 13-18 years and are surpervised by a trained counselor.
Each activity originates at French Lick Springs Hotel.
Transportation, when needed, will be provided.
Snacks or meals will be provided.
If you're under 18 years of age, you will need a permission slip signed by your parents.
Tickets vary in price and are available for purchase at the Kidsfest Activity Center at French Lick Springs Hotel. Call 888.936.9360 ext. 7274 to make your Teen Ventures reservations.

Dinner & A Movie

Saturdays
6pm - 9pm • $20

Leave mom and dad with a sitter and come out for dinner at Pluto's Pizzeria. Munch on pizza, chips and a drink before going to Springs Stadium 4 Theater for a current movie. Transportation is provided. Meet at Pluto's Alley.

Geocaching

Saturdays
1pm - 4pm • $25

Say what now? Geocaching is the latest Internet craze—a treasure hunting game played throughout the world using GPS devices. Find hidden containers (geocaches) outdoors and win prizes. GPS provided. Meet at the Events Center Level 1.

Horseback Riding

Wednesdays
1pm - 3pm • $50

Whether you love to ride or have never seen a horse up close this adventure is for you. Go on a 45-minute tour of the hills of southern Indiana. Transportation to the Stables is provided. Meet at the Events Center Level 1.

Bowling

Wednesdays
6pm - 9pm • $40

Put down the Wiimote and pick up a bowling ball! See if that Wii 300 translates to a real 300 or will you score in the 60s? Meet at Pluto's Alley.

Digital Photography

Thursdays
1pm - 4pm • $30

Learn how to take your social networking site photos to the next level. Bring your own camera or rent one for $20. Meet at the Events Center Level 2.

Golf

Fridays
9:30am - Noon • $60

Whether you're a beginner, a hacker, or a scratch golfer, come out and play with the golf pros and learn new skills or perfect your putting. All equipment is supplied. Meet at Valley Links Golf Learning Center.

Sketching/Acrylics

Fridays
1pm - 4pm • $35

If you've never picked up a paintbrush or tried to sketch now's your chance. Even if you're a veritable Rembrandt, explore working in acrylics and sketching with a professional artist as your guide. All materials are supplied. Meet at the Events Center Level 2.

Take A Hike

Saturdays
9:30am - 11:30am • $25

I know it's like before the natural waking time of teenagers, but this is a great way to see the hills and forests that surround the resort. The guided tour provides background information and exciting history of the area. Meet at the Valley Links Golf Learning Center.

Make A Movie

Saturdays
1pm - 4pm • $45

If you and your brother are budding Farrelly Brothers, Coen Brothers, Blues Brothers, even if you don't have a brother create, write, plan and shoot your very own movie. We supply the expertise and equipment, you supply the Oscar winning mad skills. Meet at the Events Center Level 1.
