Gather around the tree at the hotel entrance or watch these festivities from our grand veranda. The 50 Days of Lights at French Lick Resort commences with our annual tree lighting ceremony at French Lick Springs Hotel. Performances by the Webb Family and Springs Valley Elementary School Choir add to the joyous atmosphere with their variety of holiday music. A visit from Santa and fireworks make this one of our most special traditions! Before the official tree lighting, enjoy our lobby bar featuring festive drinks specials, or step outside for complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.

This year’s 50 Days of Lights kicks off with the annual West Baden Springs Hotel tree lighting and keeps rolling all the way into 2019. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the season, including live musical performances, appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus, and ornament making and cookie decorating for the kids. The ambiance of this historic hotel and its 40-foot-tall tree will usher in the holidays in grand fashion.

The 50 Days of Lights are packed with festivities to fill your little ones with holiday spirit. Santa is here every Saturday afternoon to hear wish lists. Story time with Mrs. Claus, cookie decorating, classic holiday movies and a toymaker workshop are also part of the merry itinerary. One thing that will definitely make your Christmas list after visiting – holiday memories that will last a lifetime.

Party is open to children age 6-12. Guests with children age 13-17 can drop off their children, but they will be allowed to come and go as they please. (Wristbands will be given at time of registration.) For families with children in both age ranges, children age 6-12 cannot be signed out by an older sibling.
