French Lick Resort Hosting Third Annual Car Show this Weekend;
Promoter Expects Nearly 1,000 Entries

FRENCH LICK, IN (July 23, 2009) —

WHAT:	Guests can expect to see everything from Model A’s to Street Rods at French Lick Resort this weekend for the Cool Rides/Hot July Nights custom and classic car show. Prizes will be awarded in 36 trophy classes including Model T’s, Model A’s, Antiques, Stock, Street Rods, Street Machines, Chevelle, Camaro, Mopar, Pro Street, Foreign, Mustang, Corvette, Street Racers and Trucks. As a part of the car show festivities, the resort will also be hosting a 60’s Sock Hop. Guests are encouraged to pull out their poodle skirts, ducktails and saddle shoes to travel back in time with music and classic cars—from the 50s and 60s. Entertainment will be provided by Evansville favorites, the Duke Boys.

WHEN:	Car Show Friday, July 24 from 10 am to 9 pm Saturday, July 25 from 8 am to 4 pm 60’s Sock Hop Friday, July 24 from 7 pm to Midnight

HOW:	There is no charge for the car show. Sock Hop tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Hoosier Sugar Company or at the door.
