FRENCH LICK, IN — Did you know French Lick Chef Louis Perrin is credited with first serving tomato juice for breakfast way back in 1917? What better way to celebrate the resort’s tomato juice heritage than a Bloody Mary competition? The resort is teaming up with Absolut to search out the best cocktail, traditional or unconventional. The winning mixologist will walk away with the top prize of $2,500 and bragging rights for creating French Lick’s Ultimate Bloody Mary.
The contest is open to all bartenders and the top 16 will compete in the finals on February 6 in the resort’s Power Plant lounge. French Lick Resort will proudly use Absolut, Absolut Citron and Absolut Peppar and basic bar set ups. By entering the contest, participants agree to turn the recipe over to French Lick Resort.
