Revised November 11, 2013
You may browse this website without providing any personal information. However, in order to process your online reservation at one of our Resort, sign up for other services from our Resort, or participate in other options, offers, or services offered through this site, we must necessarily collect and process certain relevant personal information. The information that we collect through this website and at our resorts is limited to that which is relevant for the intended purpose, and may include, for example, your name, email address, telephone number and, in the case of Resort reservations, your address, room and service preferences, and payment details.
During your visit to our Resort, we may collect additional information about you, such as to process, fulfill and confirm reservations and other Resort offerings. This includes, for example, your use of the Casino, golf course, shops, room service, restaurants or spa. We may also collect and use your information to respond to your questions, process your enrollment in or use of preferred guest service programs, and obtain feedback about our Resort and services so that we can continually provide outstanding service and look for ways to continue improving that service and our offerings to our visitors. For security and safety reasons, and to fulfill legal obligations, we may capture your image on video cameras in public location at our Resort and in our Casino. These cameras also help us identify individuals in the Casino who have registered with the Indiana Gaming Commission's Voluntary Exclusion Program.
We may also collect certain information (such as your IP address) in connection with the use of our guest Internet at the Resort. (Please see the cookies section of this Policy for additional information.) If you sign up for services through our website, you always have the option of unsubscribing from our programs at any time. Occasionally, we may invite you to participate in a survey or poll such as providing feedback about our site content, services, or products. Your responses will be anonymous unless you choose to provide your contact details so that we can provide you with additional information regarding the survey.
Visitors Outside of the United States
The Resort properties are located in the United States. As such, they adhere to applicable local, state, and federal laws that apply within the U.S. The privacy laws in the United States may not offer the same level of protection for personal information as offered in other countries, such as the European Union and Canada. By providing your personal information to us, you understand and provide consent to collect the data that you voluntarily share with us, including sharing that data with individuals in the U.S. as described in this Policy, and storing that data on servers that are located by individuals in the U.S. At the same time, you understand that the Resort makes no voluntary submissions to the standards of another jurisdiction; all disclosures made to the websites, staff, or systems of the Resort are voluntarily and at the risk of the disclosing party.
Sharing Your Information
Consistent with applicable laws and requirements, the personal information that you provide to us through this website may be combined with other information that we hold about you from other sources. To the extent that you have not asked us to refrain from doing so, we may use that information for marketing and promotional purposes within the French Lick Resort. This will allow us to inform you about special offers or promotions that might be of interest to you in relation to our Resorts or services.
We may also share some of your information with business partners that we retain to assist us with our Resort. Those business partners help us ensure that we continually provide outstanding service to you and otherwise meet your expectations during your entire experience with us. When we retain those business partners, we require them to uphold at least an equivalent level of protection for your information as that described in this Policy and as required under applicable laws. We do not rent or sell your information or otherwise share it with any non-affiliated third party for their own use.
There may also be limited types of legal situations where we are required to share some of your information, such as in the event of a transfer of ownership of the business, in connection with regulatory or legal matters, where required for safety and security, or as otherwise required or permitted by law. When we do, we limit the transfer to the information that is relevant under the circumstances and, to the extent possible, require the recipient to uphold an equivalent level of protection for the data.
Casino, Gaming and Compliance
Gaming (gambling) should always be handled responsibly. The Casino supports responsible gaming and participates in the Indiana Gaming Commission's Voluntary Exclusion Program. We also take steps to help ensure that members of the exclusion program are not included in our casino-related marketing efforts.
Consistent with the applicable gaming laws, gaming programs that may be offered by the French Lick Resort as well as the use of the Casino are intended for use only by persons age 21 and older. We reserve the right to verify your age at any time and for any reason. We will refuse admittance, service or participation in our programs to individuals who cannot verify they are 21 years of age or older.
If the parent or guardian of a person under the age of 18 believes that the person has provided us with personal information for the purpose of gaming, the parent or guardian of that person should alert casino management in person or contact the Director of Yield at the address below and request that such personal information be removed. If a person under the age of 21 submits personal information for purposes of gaming, we delete the information as soon as reasonably practical after we discover the submission, and we do not use the information for any purpose.
We expect and require our Resort and Casino guests and visitors to comply with other laws and requirements while on our property, such as those that apply to drinking alcohol, driving, lawful use of the Resort’s internet and respecting the property and privacy of others. Individuals may be removed from our premises for violating these laws or professional standards and we may, as warranted, involve law enforcement.
