Put your marksmanship to the test at our outdoor archery range. The “wildlife” in these rolling wooded hills are lifelike, three-dimensional animal targets that will test your aim and skill. It’s a fun and unique activity whether you’re a seasoned shooter or a beginner, as your instructor can show you the basics. Perfect for small groups and parties of up to 12.

Sharpen your shooting skills in a fun and safe environment at French Lick Resort’s newest outdoor range experience. Air rifles and pistols are uniquely suited for a family-friendly adventure with minimal recoil and less noise than traditional firearms, making them comfortable for young shooters or beginners.
Using one of our .177 caliber air guns, you’ll receive expert instruction on gun safety and firing technique. Once you’re comfortable with a gun in your hand, test your marksmanship on a range of targets including paper bull’s-eye targets, clay pigeons, metal plinking targets, and reactive targets that fall, spin, or move when hit. Scoring can be either individual or team based, making air rifle shooting a perfect outdoor adventure for groups of any size.

Join a day of competitive family fun at our Sunday archery shoots. ASA scoring will be used for the 25-target shoot, and five shootdown targets will be shot on the practice range after the round is complete. 14s are in play and added to the total score. Must provide own equipment, and scorecards should be turned in by 4:30pm.
