State road 56 closure

STATE ROAD 56 CLOSURE

The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced a road closure for State Road 56 between French Lick and the Dubois Crossroads. Beginning on or around Monday, May 20, crews will begin daily closures on the road in Dubois in Orange counties. These closures will occur 7am – 7pm on weekdays to allow for a chip seal and fog seal project. Work is expected to take two weeks to complete, depending on the weather. The official detour for this closure is State Road 545 to State Road 164 to State Road 145. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
