Important Update: At this time, our three hotels, dining venues and resort events are open to overnight guests only. French Lick Casino and all three resort golf courses are open to the public. Guests are required to wear masks in all indoor resort venues.

COVID-19 FAQs

Are the hotels open?

Yes, all three resort hotels are open at limited capacity. Please call (888) 936-9360 to make reservations. Reservations can also be made online for French Lick Springs Hotel and West Baden Springs Hotel.

 

Are masks required at the resort?

Yes, guests are required to wear face masks or coverings in all indoor venues, and all guests entering the resort are required to pass a health assessment and screening. Masks are also required in outdoor public spaces when unable to maintain social distancing. We ask that you bring your own masks, but we will have a limited supply on hand. 

 

Is French Lick Casino open?

Is the main entrance of West Baden Springs Hotel open?

No, the main drive is closed but overnight guests may access the hotel’s back drive via Sinclair Street at the stoplight in West Baden.

 

Is the main entrance of French Lick Springs Hotel open?

Yes; this entrance at the intersection of State Roads 56 and 145 is the only way to access French Lick Springs Hotel and French Lick Casino. 

 

Is there valet parking?

Valet parking at both French Lick Springs and West Baden Springs Hotels is available with safety protocols in place. Valet parking at Valley Tower and French Lick Casino remains unavailable at this time.

 

Is bell service available?

Yes, our bell staff is able to assist you with your luggage. Your bags will be placed in your guest room, and carts are sanitized after each use. Our bell staff will also store luggage or golf clubs using the same procedure they do when delivering luggage to a guest room.

 

Is hand sanitizer provided?

Hand sanitizer is available at restaurant, bar and shop entrances, bar tops, at counters where transactions take place, and throughout other public spaces. Please feel free to bring your own.

 

Is there personal contact during check-in and check-out process?

No, we have streamlined the check in process to avoid contact. To protect guests and associates, plexiglass shields have been added to our service areas.

 

Are cash payments accepted?

We encourage guests to pay by card during their stay. Credit, debit or gift cards are accepted at resort venues. While cards are preferred, cash is also accepted.

 

Are your associates properly protected?

Yes, we have outfitted our associates with personal protective equipment, including face masks and single-use gloves.

 

All associates are required to complete training specific to infectious diseases. This training covers basic techniques for PPE, social distancing and hand-washing to keep themselves and guests safe and healthy. Associates are also following additional cleaning/disinfecting protocols for high-touch areas throughout the resort.

 

Are your safety precautions available for viewing?

Yes, we have signage throughout the property. You can also view them here.

 

What social distancing measures will be in place?

We have clearly marked queuing areas to allow 6-foot social distancing recommendations. Some of the furniture in public spaces has been rearranged or removed to comply with social distancing. Also, we recommend no more than three people use the elevator at a time. Hand sanitizer is available near elevator and escalator boarding areas.

 

How often will my guest room be cleaned?

We are currently following the American Hotel and Lodging Association SafeStay recommendations as well as CDC guidelines. For the safety of guests and associates, we are not offering daily housekeeping in occupied guest rooms. Evening turn-down service is temporarily unavailable.

 

Is there a coffee maker in my guest room?

Yes, single-use coffee makers are in the rooms. Coffee is also for sale at Xanadu Coffee and Creamery in West Baden Springs Hotel, and French Lick Mercantile in French Lick Springs Hotel.

 

What do I do if I need something not available in my room? 

For your safety, we have removed some items from the guest rooms. Missing something you need? Simply call the front desk and we will deliver it outside your door.

 

Are the restaurants open?

Yes, most of the resort restaurants are open but may have limited hours and menus. There is a limit of six people at a table. Please see the dining page for current information. In-room dining is available at all resort hotels, and your order will be delivered outside your door for a contactless experience.

 

Are the swimming pools open? 

The pools, hot tub and fitness center are available at West Baden Springs Hotel (open daily from 6:30am-11pm) and French Lick Springs Hotel (open 5:30am-12:30am daily). Occupancy limitations will be in place. Please wipe down fitness center equipment after each use. 

 

Are the golf courses open?

Yes, our Pete Dye, Donald Ross and Valley Links Courses are all open for the season; call (888) 936-9360 to book your tee time.

 

Are the spas open?

Both resort spas are open by appointment for overnight resort guests only. The Spa at French Lick and The Spa at West Baden are open 10am-3pm Wednesday, and 10am-5pm Thursday-Sunday. To book appointments at The Spa at French Lick, please call (812) 936-5819. To book appointments at The Spa at West Baden, please call (812) 936-5801

 

Are the stables open?

The Stables at French Lick Resort are open seven days a week from 9am-4pm for overnight resort guests. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (888) 936-9360, extension 7246.

 

Is shuttle service available?

Yes, the resort shuttle buses are running with safety protocols in place. Shuttles are running regularly between the hotels and casino 24 hours a day, with service also available to the golf courses and stables upon request. Transportation vehicles are disinfected hourly between each travel cycle. Shuttles are available to resort guests only, and riders must wear a mask. Transportation is also available to off-campus restaurants in our adjacent community.

 

Is the rail trolley running?

Yes, the rail trolley is running again, offering complimentary rides between French Lick and West Baden Springs Hotels. Hours of operation are noon-8pm Wednesday-Sunday.

 

Are retail shops open?

Some of the retail shops are open but may have limited hours. Please visit the shopping page for hours of operation.

 

Are historical tours available?

Yes, Indiana Landmarks has resumed tours for overnight guests.

Are bicycles available for rental?

Bicycle rental is available at French Lick and West Baden Springs Hotels; please stop by the Mercantile Shop at either hotel to rent bikes.

 

Is the bowling alley open?

Yes; please call (812) 936-8080 to make a reservation at Pluto's Alley.

 

Is the sporting clays range open?

Yes; please email Donnie Madden at dmadden@frenchlick.com or call (812) 788-2575 for availability of sporting clays.

 

Are the hiking trails available?

Yes, three different trails are available on our main trail system near French Lick Springs Hotel, along with the new Stables Hiking Trail that begins near West Baden Springs Hotel. You can pick up a trail map at the Valley Links golf shop.
