Get a Taste of the Brand-New Sprudel's Pizzeria

You may know about the fun and games inside our brand-new Billiard and Bowling Pavilion, which reopened in January to hotel guests for the first time since the early 1930s. 

Did you know about the delicious eats you can pair with a round of bowling and game of pool?

The Billiard and Bowling Pavilion is home to the newest dining venue here at French Lick Resort, and if you haven’t visited yet, here’s a taste of what awaits.

For Starters

Pass around a salumi board, loaded with everything from pepperoni and salami to fresh mozzarella, jumbo olives, peppers and other accompaniments. You also won’t go wrong with the taste and texture sensation of the bruschetta: crunchy, creamy and juicy in every bite with a kick of balsamic drizzle to top it off.

A Flavor All Its Own

You may have already picked up on the Mediterranean flair of Sprudel’s menu. It carries through to the fresh flavors of the pies.

The Margherita, with buffalo mozzarella, basil pesto and tomatoes, is a must-try. (And trust us, it’s every bit as tasty as the photo looks.) The freshly made basil pesto is also a dipping option for your order of Tuscan breadsticks.

All our pizzas start with dough made fresh and in-house for the perfect balance of pillowy crispness.

Share, or Indulge for Yourself

If you’re wanting to try a fan favorite, this Smoked Chicken BBQ (topped with peppadew peppers and shaved onions) has been one of our most popular sellers so far, along with the Supremo (our take on the supreme).

All pizzas come in two sizes: a shareable 16-inch, or a personal 8-inch if you want one all to yourself.

And for Something a Little Different….

Order up this Florentine, with pecorino creamed spinach, tomato bruschetta, mozzarella and balsamic drizzle.

There are plenty more options for those who love adventuring off the beaten flavor path.

Anchovy lovers, rejoice, because we’ve got a dedicated anchovy pie that you’ll want to keep coming back for. The Fungo Pizza — made with local mushrooms, black truffle whipped ricotta and roasted garlic — has been a popular pick so far. Or, opt for a Prosciutto Pizza or the Bianca, our take on the cheesy-bread-style pizza featuring ricotta and pecorino.

Beyond the Pies

If a sandwich is calling your name, sink your teeth into a warm Italian, ham and cheese or prosciutto stromboli, or fill up with an Italian grinder or chicken Caesar wrap.

Always Room for Dessert

Pizza may be the star of the show. But you’ll also be dreaming about these ginormous tiramisu cookies for a while. Crispy on the outside, ooey and gooey in the middle with creamy tiramisu filling.
